How to Make Herbed-Infused Sugar

Mint-Infused Sugar

This herb-infused sugar is so easy to make and deliciously garden fresh! We love using mint but you can use any herbs, edible flowers, or a mix of both to infuse your sugar. You can whip up a batch in just a few minutes and use it as a garnish for desserts, drinks, and more!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup fresh mint leaves (or other herbs)

  • ½ cup organic sugar

Directions

  • Gather mint leaves and separate them from stems. Gently wash the leaves if needed and dry thoroughly (a salad spinner can help with this – it’s important to dry thoroughly)
  • Combine fresh mint leaves with sugar in a blender or food processor.
  • Blend until the mixture is fine and there are no visible mint leaves left. Sugar will take on a slight green color.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge and use within a week or two.
