Easy Thanksgiving Place Cards with Herb Cuttings!

Thanksgiving is the perfect time to highlight some of the amazing greens and herbs that you grew this year! But, you don’t have to limit it to the food! You can also use your garden-grown goodies to create some beautiful Thanksgiving decor! 

These place cards are the perfect way to greet your guests at the table! The cards are made special with a cutting from your homegrown herbs! I find that tarragon, rosemary, or lavender are perfect for this! Plus, they smell amazing! 

Best of all, these place cards are so simple to make! It will only take you a few minutes to put them together!

If you are ready to make your own Thanksgiving place cards with your beautiful herb cuttings, follow these instructions:

  1. Download the printable place cards
  2. Print the cards on heavy paper or cardstock
  3. Cut out each of the cards following the dotted lines
  4. Write your dinner guest’s name on the line
  5. Snip the paper on the marked “x”‘s 
  6. Take a 2 inch cutting from your herbs (lavender, rosemary or tarragon work especially well!)
  7. Insert each side of the cutting into the snipped “x” on each of the cards
  8. Place the finished place cards on your table to mark each person’s table placement
