During the darker days of winter, it’s nice to take some time to create some warmth in your home with candles! We chatted with Kaylee Vaughn from Rooted Revival about making DIY beeswax candles with herbs!
These candles take about 20 minutes to make. They are the perfect way to decorate your hearth and home for winter. Or, give them as gifts to your loved ones!
You can top your candles with any herbs. Kaylee particularly likes dried lavender blossoms because of their lovely scent when the wax is warmed. She also really loves using pine needles for a winter fragrance and mentioned that you can use essential oils to scent your candles.
