Grilled Nectarines with a Mint Simple

This recipe is made extra special with Mint from the farm garden wall.


For the Syrup:

  • 1 cup Water 
  • 1 cup Sugar 
  • 1 cup Fresh Mint Leaves 

For the Nectarines:

  • 4 fresh nectarines


For the Syrup:

  1. Combine water, sugar, and mint leaves in a small saucepan. 
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Simmer for 1 minute. 
  3. Remove from heat and let syrup steep, about 30 minutes.
  4. Pour syrup into a glass jar through a mesh strainer to remove mint leaves.
  5. Let cool.

For the Nectarines:

  1. Pit and half the nectarines. 
  2. Brush with Syrup.
  3. Place on grill for 10-15 minutes.
